Can you put jeans in the washing machine?

What settings should you use, I know you need to be careful.

Yes you can if the jeans' care label says you can. To be on the safe side, wash on a low temperature on a slow spin cycle, separately from other clothes. If still in doubt, take them to a drycleaners and see if they can dryclean or professionally wash them.

It depends on the jeans. I check the tags for each pair because some require no dryer and some stretch so much I have to put them in so they fit again. Many have you hang dry, just be sure to check your particular pair.

Putting jeans in the wash is perfectly fine. You always want to wash with like garments, so wash with other jeans. Use cold water in the gentle cycle when washing.

Recommend you check the laundry instruction tag in the jeans before you wash them just in case. Washing them in cold water is best, depending on the amount of cotton they have, they may shrink some. Also, depending on how often you wash them there could be some change in the color.
