You can marinate cube steak to tenderize it. A good marinade should include salt and oil for flavor, in addition to spices such as thyme or rosemary, and an acid. Apple cider vinegar will work, or even lemon juice.

A cube steak is already tenderized. however, if you wish to give it more flavor, you can marinate it for a few hours before cooking. a teriyaki marinade made with soy sauce, white wine, brown sugar, grated ginger, minced garlic, and some sesame oil would give your cube steak nice flavor.

Cube steak has been run through a "tenderizer" at the butcher or grocer, so there's really no need to tenderize it further. You can marinate it certainly, for flavor. Try Italian dressing (Clinton's favorite!) or soy sauce and garlic.
