Organic farming is popular. However, worms are not. Many Vietnamese refugees gather worms or raise them to sell to bait shops and only make a few dollars per day doing so. Worm casings, if collected in a formal worm far, are worth less than a dollar a pound. If it is in conjunction with a crop, it adds little money.
