Can you keep monkeys as pets?

Monkey are a not a good choice as a pet, especially if your not a professional. Monkey although they look cute as babies grow up to be ten times stronger than human beings. Apart from the danger the cost of raising a monkey would be ten time of that raising a human child.

I have seen on tv people keeping monkeys as pets. Michael Jackson is a famous star that kept one. But I would not recomend it. It might be illegal is some or all places. It is not predictable when the wild behavior will come out, especially as they get older. In California a pet monkey bit a lady's face.
