There are two possible reasons your Cummins isn't receiving fuel. To diagnose this, remove the fuel filter canister. If the canister is empty, this means your lift pump is bad. If the canister is full of fuel, then your injector pump has gone out. The lift pump is replaced easily, while the injector pump is a expensive and complex repair.

first you check fuel pump either it is working properly sometime its may be air locked so open the air lock safety valve and let the air omit if not then change it,then check fuel filter it might block change it, check the air blockage, check the whole fuel line it might damage or twisted.

First thing to do is check your fuel pump. Make sure it is working. Then locate your fuel filter and check to make sure it isn't clogged.

Mechanical pump is not fitted in Cummins engine near to its Fuel injection pump. Probably it will be inside the cabin or somewhere near to the pipelines. After "switching on" the ignition key opearate this pump for 5 minuts, still not starting, check for air blockages in the whole system.
