What kind of troubleshoot is this? LCD, batter charger, connection or other? You should be more specific, there are several options specific to your trouble.

Yes! Without knowing what problem you are actually having, consider the top 2 problems that PSPs encounter: Failed UMD reader - if your PSP stops reading discs, you should probably clean the laser lens, then just replace it. It's very expensive to have replaced. Broken screen - PSP screens are made by Sharp and cost about $40.

Try updating the software first - be careful if your psp is real broken though. If that fails, check for corrupted files or data.

Start by checking if the battery is charged and inserted in its slot. If it is, check if it works on the power adapter with the battery unplugged.

Check its internal connections. If the port for the controller has been damaged, it may need to be replaced. Also check the control port and control boards for dust and clean them with pressurized air.

It could be something stuck in the UMD gear or the Disc Spinning motor. This will not let The disc in the UMD spin or Laser motor or the Motherboard.

Go to the main menu for your PSP by pressing the home button. Go to settings till you get network settings. Or otherwise get a new connection.
