Several reviews for the Belkin 12 outlet home/office surge protector state that it did not protect their electronics when lightning struck.Others gave it a five star review.The APC surge suppressor had reviews from 4 to 5 stars. Many say the design is great and it really works in time of need. Tripp Lite protectors receive 4 to 5 star ratings.

Well you can purchase a no name brand quality from home depot and it works great. It really helps protect from power surges.
