Question by  Heffer (122)

Can you give me some good ideas for demonstration speeches for kids in middle school?

I don't want to get into anything too complicated and that requires a lot of props.

You may not want a lot of props, but a few props will create a lot of visual interest. Consider: How to Bathe a Dog (use a washable plush dog); How to Make a Cup of Tea (use a teapot, but room temp water); How to Make Kool-Aid (use a clear glass pitcher); How to Make Chocolate Milk.

A speech for kids in middle school will be interesting. Adding a small story may attract them. At this age interaction is more recommended.Usually kids don't interested on advice. Make a chance to active participation.

If you want to demonstrate with no props, try fitness moves such as correct position for lunges or push ups and what muscles are used when doing it correctly. Both boys and girls could benefit from learning to tie a windsor knot on a necktie. Line dances could be fun for demonstration as well (cha cha slide/ cupid shuffle)

Instead of using properties, you can be a property. If your describing about Television, imagine that your a television and demonstrate.
