This case of cribs being recalled by jardine enterprises is due to some weak structural parts which broke and caused injuries to some infants in Taiwan. This in particular refers to the crib slats and spindles.
It has to do with the wooden crib slats which can break. Apparently the slats have either cracked or broken which makes a gap that the child can fall through.
