The best way to get free ringtones is to create your own. Many phones have this capability, and all phones with internet access can do this. Another common option is to use websites that offer free ringtone downloads.
Unfortunately there is no way to get free ring tones for t-mobile, unless you have a PDA phone you download songs from your computer to your phone and use those as ring tones.
