Yes, the Sacramento International Airport (SMF) hosts a bunch of commercial airlines (Delta, American, US Air, etc). There are also two other smaller options in Sacramento's immediate area: the Executive Airport and the Mather airport.

There is in fact a Sacramento International Airport into which you can fly. However, it is not a very large airport which can drive up ticket prices. It may prove cheaper and more convenient to fly into the San Francisco or San Jose airports and then rent a car to drive out to Sacramento.
