Garbage cans and composte piles if you have either one near your house you will have those flies you can either spray for them or move the things that are causing them.

Could be a fruit fly, these are caused by fruit. For example bananas, if left to rot or even thrown in the trash will draw them.

Well they come from outside and they are very common. They are found all over North America outside in the fresh air.

Maggots turn in to black flies and when they are young they are so small at times you can barely see them.

Black flies breed exclusively in running water. Some species live in large,fast flowing streams. It is came from the egg by their young ones & it lays in water

Your surroundings may not be clean or there may be some nesting ground in the backyard. Even if a gutter or sewage if left open gives fly an opportunity to breed. And if your house is the closest, they may flock into yours. Use mesh door with springs. Also be careful if the flies have stings.
