You can feed liver to dogs. You don't want to overdo it however because it is very rich and can make them sick. If your dog isn't used to raw foods start out with a very small amount and work up so its stomach can handle it.

Liver is not typically harmful to dogs if given in small amounts. Like many things, in moderation is harmless. However, if given in high quantities, can have ill effects on a dog's health. Liver may cause a dogs vitamin A or iron level to be higher than what is considered healthy.

Yes you can, feed liver, egg yolks cheese and cottage cheese to make sure she has the protein she needs while lactating. In between her regular meals.
