A tubal pregnancy is caused when the fertilized egg implants itself to your fallopian tubes rather than your uterus. Think of your fallopian tubes as almost a pipe that the egg travels down to get to the uterus. This type of pregnancy is dangerous for obvious reasons.

This type of pregnancy must be terminated or rupture can occur, which means that the mother can bleed to death. It is a pregnancy which is outside of the uterus.

Basically the egg implants in the tubes rather than in the womb. There is not much you can do to prevent it. It is something that happens in some pregnancies.

A tubal pregnancy occurs when the embryo implants in the tubes in stead of the uterus. As a result the pregnancy is not viable.

Tubal pregnancy when a fertilized egg is implanted in one of the fallopian tubes out side the uterus,the egg travels from the ovary to the uterus within a few days and conception has taken place. If the tube is damaged or with block, the egg fails to reach the uterus.
