Can we be equal to god?

This depends on your definition of god. Humans can create order from chaos, create life, and guide intelligence (in growing children). We can consciously end a life, by violence or drugs. We cannot create new matter, create a world, or change the laws of physics.

In so far that we can create life and destroy life, then yes we can. However, to be equal to go there requires more than impact on life.
