Yes your dodge caravan can safely tow a dinghy. Just make sure if it already has a the equipment installed that it was done by a professional the correct way.

The new Dodge Caravans can tow between 1000 and 3800 pounds depending on the engine size, 3.3l, 3.8L, and 4.0l. I would say a dinghy and trailer won't weigh 1000lbs.

Yes it can tow your dinghy but honestly it depends on how much weight your caravan will carry. If you think it is too heavy, then you should not by any means carry any heavy dinghy on to your van. I recommend using a moving truck of any kind. It will be more safe.

Well I believe it can but then you would have to basically drive very slowly. I recommend using a truck.

That would depend upon the total weight of the boat and the trailer used to tow it. If it's not too heavy, you should be able to do it.

Maybe, maybe not, depending upon the size of the dinghy and trailer you are using. Did your Caravan come with a "tow" package from the factory? Does it have a hitch? Are you going to be driving up mountains? How powerful is your engine? Unless it was built specifically for towing, you could cause major transmission damage.
