Can lumbar fusion help back pain?

I have always had some pains and it is starting to really affect my life.

Lumbar fusion can help lower back pain, but it is a risky surgery and should only be considered as an absolute last resort. Physical therapy should be considered before surgery, as should steroid injections (such as cortisol), or a combination of the two, perhaps with added prescription painkillers if necessary.

Yes lumbar fusion can help with back pain but I'd recommend talking with a very qualified surgeon before i would even concider going that way. they may have other methods with less recovery time.

I dont think Lumbar Fushion will help back pain since you have to think about the spinal nerves coming in and out of each vertebral bodies.
