Can I sue 911 because they never came?

you can sue anyone for anything but the conversations are all recorded. i cant imagine anyone not answering the call. i have for 33 years been in some form of law or ems and firefighting. i do know time isnt the same for you as it us.

I don't see how because 911 is not for any one individual and when you called they never promised you that they would definitely come only they would send someone

No. There is no legal obligation for police or ambulance to come to a location. This is especially true if there were ever false alarms at the address.

Emergency calls are prioritized. Depending on the nature of your call, it may have been moved down the list so that more serious matters could be addressed by the available officers. You might first check with the authorities to better understand why no one was dispatched for your call. Once you have more information, you can proceed.

Simple failure to appear by an officer is not sufficient to sue a 911 dispatch service. You need to show that there was negligence on the part of the service.

The 911 system is a helpful agency that has to deal with many situations at once. It is possible the 911 operator did not understand you. In nearly all cases they will send someone when asked for legitimate situations.

Yes, you can, but it will be difficult. Make sure it is not a problem with the local agencies that they contacted; hire an investigator first and find the guilty party.
