Can I repair a camera that has lines across the screen?

Replacing the screen can be done if your electronically inclined and if you can find the parts. But, does it need to be repaired? The screen is just a viewfinder. If the lines are not showing up on the pictures when you download them, then it is only an inconvenience.

Not really, the LCD screen is cracked and it needs to be replaced. It can usually cost more to replace this screen than to purchase a new camera. So don't do it unless it's a really expensive camera. Contact the manufacturer they would be able to give you a quote for repair costs.
