A 30 gallon tank is best but they can survive in a 10 gallon. MAke sure it is a fresh water tank. Try to mimic their natural habitat.

If you have no other fish and the tank is fairly large, then yes. A catfish might eat other fish though. And they like deep, murky water. They thrive better in alge and dirty water than they do in fresh, clean water. Good luck.

You can put the albino catfish in a home tank. Just make sure that the water quality matches the water quality that the fish was caught in. However, I do caution against it if you have store bought fish, due to the possibility of diseases carried by wild fish.
