No, you parents are legally responsible for you until you are 18. So put up with it for another year. Go away to college, have a great time, get an education and become an adult. You'll thank your parents for it. And you might be able to say I'm sorry for putting you through all this.

The legal age to technically be an adult in the eyes of the law is 18, in all 50 U. S. states. You might want to consider where to live too.

Yes, you can legally move out whout your parent's consent at 17. But your parents will still be responsible of you unless you emancipate, join the army, get married or turn 18, which is the gal age of majority. If you are already 17 even the police can't force you to go back home.
