Can I install my own electric garage door?

Installing a garage door is very simple to accomplish. The biggest problems with installing the door is the garage must be totally square and the actual weight of the door can be awkward to deal with. It takes two people to install the door only because of the weight issue.

If you have no prior exeperience installing garage doors you may want to contact a professional to do the job, however if you find yourslef to be more on the handy side then you may give it a try its not a hard project but it will require skill and patience.

When I was young My dad and I installed 2 garage door openers, he was a very handy man and it took almost a whole day to install the first one, the second one went rather quickly so I would recommend a professional installer for your garage door opener installation.
