Can I feed a dog a pistachio?

It is best to avoid nuts, some like macadama are toxic. Pistachio's are not, however they are high in fat. Peanut butter is great for giving pills.

I don't see as it would hurt the dog unless it has an allergy to pistachios. Try one and wait for half an hour or so, if it isn't having any bad reactions it should be okay.

No, it is not safe to feed your dog pistachios. It can cause lack of coordination and GI upset in dogs.
