Yes, They are available at most home supply and hardware stores. You can purchase them with only the metric system or many of them made now have both standard and metric the full length of the tape measure.

Converting would take time, but so will finding the measure. This is not something you will find at your average big box store or hardware store. Your best bet is definitely to use the Internet to order one.

Most quality brands of measuring tape have metric measurement on them. Typically the left side of the tape is a standard scale and the right side is a metric scale. However if you want a metric only tape measure that may be harder to find. I'm sure that you can purchase one online though.
