Can cats get worms like dogs do?

I think my cat has some kind of worms.

Yes. Your cat just like dogs can get and should be vaccinated against heart worms. Heartworm is transfered to cats by mosquitoes that bit dogs infected with heartworm.

Yes cats get worms like dogs do and it can be treated very easily the best treatments and the ones that last longest are prescribed by your vet,although over the counter ones may be used but they may not be as affective and much harder to calculate the correct dosage.
