Cats should not eat chicken bones, especially if the bones have been cooked. The bones can splinter and possibly cause damage to the intestinal tract or even cause blockage which may require surgery to correct.

It's not a good idea to let cats and dogs eat chicken bones. It's not so much the choking factor, but when they chew on a chicken bone, the bones splinter and can get seriously sharp little edges that can cause damage when swallowed. Best rule is not to let them eat them.
