Bile build up in pregnancy is called cholestasis. It is rare, affecting one or two in a thousand pregnant women. However, it can be very dangerous to a woman and her child. If you experience severe itching, especially on your hands and feet, or jaundice, contact your doctor immediately.

Normally, the bile does not build up in pregnancy. It builds up when the liver is damaged or injured by any means. If this happens during pregnancy, this will damage the fetus. It is a must to check this during pregnancy and to treat to protect the fetus.

Yes,bile builds up during pregnancy but early in the morning most of the time ,it also builds up if you keep your stomach empty for a long time.

Yes bile can build up in pregnancy. It's called Cholestasis. The flow of bile in the gallbladder is either slowed or completely stopped cause it to build up. It will cause itching and yellowing of the skin and eyes. It is most common is the last trimester and usually clears up within a few days after delivery.
