Keep in mind that every parent thinks his/her toddler is a genius. What is the point of knowing if he/she is "gifted?" Will you proceed differently? Probably not. Just keep doing what you're doing and expose your child to lots of good things (without pressure or stress).

Yes, but it may not be very wise or useful. Children of this age need all round love and education, so that their talents develop naturally at their own pace.

If your two year old is showing signs of being gifted like writing an essay of 40 words, then yes the two year old can be tested, as this is out of the ordinary.

While some people insist they can be, common sense says no. Most parents want their kids to be gifted, but you probaby can't tell until they're 7 or 8.

Yes, but the result may be skewed because young children all develope at a different pace. only if the child shows special advancement should it be done.

No, if anyone tries to get you to pay for testing a two year old, don't fall for it. If your 2 year old is gifted he or she will still be gifted in theyears to come.

There are tests for very young children, but they are not as accurate as those for children who are elementary-school age.

A child cannot accurately be tested for being gifted until they are at least in kindergarten. All children's brains develop with quite a variation between their peers. They might just be advanced for their age, but are not going to have overdeveloped intelligence necessarily.

Yes and no. It really depends, if you think your child has some special abilities, please confirm it and only if your sure about it, get your child tested for being gifted or not.

No, at just two years of age, it's impossible to tell how "advanced" a child is from an educational point of view.
