No. Never. You can only learn to live with the aftermath as committed, caring, loving, vulnerable, strong, hurt, healing humans. Eventually that will be your normal. But you can't pretend it never happened without your marriage becoming a lie. And you can't stay stuck in blame and hurt.

With time, compassion and help from a counselor a marriage can survive adultery. It is not going to occur over night and you are your spouse are going to have to agree to work with each other to solve the problem of the adultery and of what led to the adultery.

A marriage can overcome adultery for sure. In fact the real life starts only after the marriage. After marriage, the story of spouse will change into a comedy story.

I feel that a marriage can not overcome adultery. You would never be able to trust them again. You would always wonder if they are being honest with you or not. You would not really want someone that you can not trust. A marriage should be about trust and total honesty.
