Yes they can interbreed but it's highly unlikely that they would. Bobcat would normally avoid all contact with a domestic cat and if forced into a confrontation they would think of fighting before they ever considered mating. Also due to the size difference the kittens are often to large for a domestic cat to give birth to naturally.

It may seem odd,but yes they can be bred. It is also very rare,as they have to be brought up as babies,and some how form a special bond. In return,they may have an interest in each other.
