It is experienced that water freezes in 32 degree F or 0 degree C. It is also seen that there is no difference in the freezing point of water at various altitudes except slight difference in hard water.

There are different scales, including Farenheit (32 deg) and Celcius (0 deg). Also, atmospheric pressure, which differs with altitude has an effect, as does salinity (salt content) of water. The basi answer in the U. S. is 32 degrees F. In most other countries its zero degrees Celcius. Take care.
