Although wallabies and kangaroos look very similar, they are different animals. The most noticeable diffence is in their size. The wallaby is smaller than the kangaroo. The teeth in the two animals vary, as well. They live in different habitats. The wallably lives in a forest, while kangaroos in treeless areas.

No there are biological differences between the two, besides their size. Wallabies eat leaves and have flat teeth, while kangaroos eat grass so they have curved teeth and less pronounced crowns because they don't need to cut and grind. Their coats are different colors, wallabies have a gray coat while kangaroos are more red.
