Yes, there are perms for just about any kind of hair. Perms for hair that has been colored for many years, like yours, are very gentle and effective. However, I would not advise you to do this yourself. Leave it to a professional!

There are three types of perms: acid, alkaline and exothermic. Colored hair is more porous and requires a pre-perm lotion.
