Body perms are perms given to people with flat hair. It seems to make the hair have more body and bounce giving it the illusion that your hair is thicker and more vibrant than it was before. These types of perms are not tightly rolled and the solutions used in other perms are not as harsh.

Absolutely not. Body perms are for head hair. They give the hair some volume and nice soft waves. The final looks often depends on the type of your hair, so it is a good idea to ask an experienced hairdresser for an opinion.
