It is very likely. Check websites like FastWeb, which are free and have a large database of potential scholarships. You may also consider heading to your local bookstore--they often have books devoted to scholarships and their specific qualifications. Or consider speaking with a college or university directly; if nothing else, it is worth including on the financial aid application.

The Schwallie Family Scholarship Program awards scholarships of $3,000 that can be used for either college or vocational school (go to the Organization for Autism Research website). And AHEADD gives a $500 scholarship for college. The link is http://www. aheadd. org/scholarship. html. The federal government has Pell grants for this, too.

Yes. The Organization for Autism Research offers the Schwallie Family Foundation Scholarship for children with Asperger Syndrome. The Autism Society of America offers another college scholarship for children with Asperger Syndrome. AHEADD offers a "book scholarship" for children with Asperger Syndrome. Additionally, there is the Ohio Department of Education Autism Scholarship Program. Others likely exist.

No there isn't. If you read the above it keeps repeating Schwallie. There are very few private scholarships available for ASD and LDs.
