Castro is a dictator and though ill, runs Cuba through is brother. Chavez in Venezuela. Kim Jong-Il-N. Korea, Than Shwe-Burma, Lukashenko-Belarus, Khomeni/Achmadinejad-Iran and assorted gang leaders throughout Africa. Obama is trying his best to achieve dictator status in the U.S.

Yes. Primary examples include: Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe Bashar Assad of Syria Kim Jong-il of North Korea, and being the son of the former leader, is probably forming a monarchy Senior General Than Shwe, Burma - let people starve than bring in post-tsunami relief

Of course there are. President Bashar Assad in Syria is one of them, the Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf is another, Alexander Lukashenko in Belarus, the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Iran, Kim Jong-il of North Korea, Saparmurat Niyazov of Turkmenistan, etc.

Libya's Kahddaffi is still in power, and going strong. The rest of Africa still has it's share of warlords and despots as well. Not a shortage of dictators left in the world by any means however you count it.
