Soy shakes can be good for you because they are high in protein and low in cholesterol and fat. Soy is a great great source of protein and iron. Although fermented soy products are sometimes high in sodium and may provoke allergies. Overall they are a healthy alternative but should be used in moderation and balanced with other healthy foods. Don't use it as a substitute to a well balanced diet.

Soy shakes are good as long as they contain whey, which most soy shakes will contain. Soy is better than milk according to many doctors. It also contains calcium and lots of protein which will provide you with the adequate nutrition you need. So yes, they are definitely good for you.
