What benefits do protein shakes provide to women?

I've heard that soy and whey proteins can be beneficial. What do they do for a woman's health?

They help rebuild muscle and burn fat during and after workouts and boosts your immune system. Whey protein is easily absorbed by the body and has no fat or lactose which often causes allergies or digestion problems.

Unfortunatly, soy, unless fermented, in not good for humans. It destroys your capacity to absorb Vitamin D. Whey is OK if you do not have celiac disease. Protein builds muscles and strength so get some every day; just be aware that all protein is not equally beneficial.
