Sager notebooks are known for its gaming capabilities. If you're going to college, maybe a more reliable brand is better so in the future, you will encounter less difficulties. Assuming you're going to use notebooks for class and not for gaming, a Sony or Mac or HP should be good.

The best notebooks for a student are Asus or Gateway brand. Sager notebooks tend to have a lot of poorly-manufactured parts or hardware incompatibilities.
