Specifications. Must have enough processing power, memory, hard disk, expansion slots. Weight. You would then tend to notice how heavy your notebook becomes. Screen Size. Choose what's best for you. Keyboard size. Must be of STANDARD size. A notebook mount would be of great help to help prevent from overheating.

Look for one that is well vented on the bottom AND on the sides. Many laptops have overheating issues, and ones that are vented on the sides will sometimes have this problem less. Also, look for one that isn't awkward to type on. If you're hands are like giants, and you get one with a tiny keyboard, its difficult.

You can prevent overheating by making sure the vents aren't covered. Blankets and loose clothing are the most usual culprits. Biggest tip is to get a machine built for what you need; gaming laptop for games, small laptop for school. "Notebook" is just the marketing term everyone uses for "laptop."

A computer that does not sit on top of a desk is considered a laptop or notebook. The difference lies in their performance. A good notebook offers extreme portability with reasonable computing power. Some buying considerations include hardware features like display resolution, screen size, RAM, storage like flash drives, and software. Make sure that your choice meets your needs.

Note book is very important to note and keep it for our memories. According to requirements, every user expects various sizes. According to their use we would buy a note book. We also consider the capacity of note book. Last but not least, price of product is very important and prefer low cost product.

Money equals quality. I only recommend buying a cheap laptop if you know how to fix it yourself. Otherwise when the one cheap part wears out you're going to be stuck with no laptop. And no, a laptop IS a notebook. NETbooks are different.

Price is always important, keep it within your price range. However, that doesn't mean you should settle for much lower quality just because of the price. Get bang for buck.
