Peanut butter is a good source of protein, but most store brands contain a lot of sugar and additives. You can purchase freshly ground peanut butter with no additives at better stores. Jelly is all sugar (carbs) and bread, depending on what kind you use, has very little protein and is mostly carbs and fiber.

Most muscle regimens require lots of protein intake. Peanut butter is a great source of protein, but the jelly is bad for you. Change it with honey or preserves.

Peanut butter is a good source of protein. Look for one that is low in added sugar. Jelly and bread will not build muscle. Hard boiled eggs and peanut butter on celery would be a better choice. Liver, cheese, lean meats are also good choices.

They are okay in moderation. The peanut butter is incredibly high in protein but most jellies are loaded with sugars.
