Yes, Ipods are good refurbished. Mac is a good company that knows how to repair electronics. Most ipods now are flash memory, which has no moving parts anyway.
Yes and No. It depends on if they have been refurbished by Apple or by someone who may not be authorized to fix them. If the iPod is refurbished and has a warrenty of at least 30 days I would feel comfortable buying it.
