Are colored contacts expensive?

They used to be when they first came out but I think they are far less expensive now. You can get them in basically every color, of course you can get green, blue, brown, normal colors, but I have also seen a purple looking color which is pretty cool too.

Contact lenses are available in different designs and colors like brown, grey, green, blue. They are expensive than regular contact lenses. Because Lens manufactures have to do additional research to determine the most popular colors and develop methods to apply tints to the lenses so they look natural on the eye. The development costs and tinting process increases manufacturing costs.
