C.G. Conn flutes are incredible especially for beginners. First they are light weight and easy to hold for long periods of time. Second, most are made of silver and this makes them brilliant with acoustics and sound.
The last real Conn flutes were made in 1969. Since then, MacMillan has owned the company. The Conn flute are solid silver and a mainstay, particularly for school bands.
