In part, the "Big Beautiful Woman" is about projecting a healthy, happy attitude. An hour-glass figure (rather than pear or apple shaped) is also considered more beautiful, especially when accompanied by a flattering and well-maintained hair cut, appropriate makeup, and well-fitting clothing.

It depends on where the weight is, and the face of the women. Some women carry the extra weight well and others do not.
