Are all mp3 players portable?

Not exactly. Your computer plays mp3's ans it is not portable unless it is a laptop. There are other devices such as XBOX's that play them too.

Every mp3 player I have seen is portable. All of the are small and batter powered so they are easy to transport. They are other devices that may play mp3's, like stereos, that are not portable.

With the exception of computer programs like iTunes, Winamp, and Windows Media Player, which are technically mp3 players themselves, yes, all mp3 players themselves are portable. The beauty of the product is the availability of taking it with you wherever you want whenever you want, and not having to worry about a power source.
