Plug it into a computer to put songs on it, then unplug the device, turn on the device, insert headphones into the device, push play button on the device, listen to your device.
There should be a switch on one side, try turning it on. If that doesn't work ask him if there were any cables that came with it because it probably needs to be charged.
First switch-on the power button and insert the scratch-free mp3 into the mp3 player. now press the play button by using remote control. if it doesn't working just eject the mp3. if you run the same mp3 2 or 3 times it will damage the laser. thank you.
An MP3 player can vary from complex to simple usage. The simpler ones have buttons that can be pressed on the outside. Trying each of the buttons won't hurt anything and you can see what they do. The more complex models should have guides online, such as Apple's iPod, which can be found with a simple Google Search.
First check the batteries to make sure they are working. Look for a "Power" button. Press it to turn on the MP3 player. If one does not exist, press the "Play" button, which looks like a single arrow. This should start a song playing. Press the "Next" button to skip to the next song.
They're all a little bit different, but basically you need to plug it into your computer with the USB cable that came with it. Most of them nowadays are "plug and play" friendly - all you have to do is copy mp3 files from your computer to your player just like moving them from one folder to another.
Usually though you'll be given a usb cable which you plug into your pc and into your mp3 player. You then load music on it just by copying and pasting.
1. Turn on, using the power button (usually at the side).
2. Plug in the headphones in a suitable "hole" at the side of the device, put by your ear.
3. Press the Big button that looks like this ">". This is the play button.
4. You now hear Music.
player should have a USB cord/port, use that to plug it into your computer, then transfer MP3s from your hard drive. Use Power and Play Buton from there.
