In order to be qualified for Medicaid, the person must prove to be within the poverty level according to the state the person is residing. The person must show all bills, proof of who lives in the household, bank statements, proof of a job or lack of one, all owned vehicles, and any other money that may be available.

This is based on your income and if you are working. Go down to your Division of Social Services office and apply to find out if you qualify or not.

To find out if you are qualified for Medicaid, you need to contact the Department of Family Services or Health Department in your state. There are numerous criteria, such as number of dependents and income level, which need to be evaluated to determine if you are eligible for benefits, and, if so, how much of a benefit.
