Without more information, there's no way of knowing for sure. Some things that might help you deicde: is he/she a compulsive liar, an addict, has constant trouble with the law, has trouble with infidelity, has a "superficial charm" about him or her? If many of these traits are true, then you might be.

It really depends on who you are dating. Is that person violent? Do they threaten your well being? You need to assess these things and get help if needed.

Ut oh. If you have to ask, you probably are dating someone who is troubled.. Emotional issues don't get better on their own. Sometimes you need to nsist that the person get help! Depending on the behavior, you may have to just stay away from them, and just steer them in the direction of help.
