Would you get a pet tarantula?

personaly i would not get a tarantula because i do not like spiders. This does not mean that they are bad pets to have it just really depends what you are into and what you are looking for in a pet. This is a pet that does not require alot of attention, but does not give much excitement.

I already have 2 of them. They are interesting animals. They are actually soft to the touch. Their are many different species, some of them quite striking in color such as Avicularia metallica. They don't really like being handled but it is fun watching them grab a cricket. The pink toe goliath bird eater can grow to be 13 inches.
